warm cool colours

How beautiful are colours in our lives?

Pupils in grades 1 and 2 learnt about the primary and secondary colours and after taht we learnt that warm colours bring us happiness and cool colours sometimes make us feel sad.

Here are the paintings we created joining both: warm and cool.

Shiny posters from our pupils

After working hard with all the different contents about light, pupils have become great artists creating these nice posters and crafts:
Some of them made the poster using paint, others 2.0 web tools such as Wordle or Taxgedo.
THEY ARE BRILLIANT, AREN'T THEY?

Up in the dark sky, song for children

Bright poets in action!

Our parnets from Grade 5 created a poem after working with the Lighthouse one from katherine Sessor.

Here is their creation, beautiful isn't it?

THE FIREBALL

The Sun lights up our world,
His beams send the darkness away,
Everyday he rises from the horizon.

Fire, strong hero in the universe,
Illuminating the sky by day like the stars at night.
Rainbow, a beautiful door in the paradise,
elegant as a peacock in love.
Bulbs lighting up homes and streets like
All the stars shining bright in the night sky.
Look at the sunset saying goodbye to the sea,
Look at the LIGHT gleaming peace inside me!

The light house poem

Here is a poem which helped us to create beautiful works of art.

The Lighthouse

The light house, the guardian angel of the night
She shines her light for all the lost sailors passing by

Her beam bright as the sun, flashing through the night sky

The lighthouse, a soldier during the storms

Standing tall, unafraid of the chaos

Her light piercing through the storm like sharp knives

The light house the night owl of the day

Sleeping and cozzed away until the night

Her beam off as silent as a deer not wanting to be found
Katherine Sessor
And we have learnt the poem and make a beautiful poster about it.
